The Opportunity & Equity Foundation is an Arkansas nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities that empower youth, families, and neurodiverse individuals through education, life skills, financial literacy, agriculture, workforce readiness, and community support initiatives. We believe every individual deserves equitable access to the resources, knowledge, and support needed to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.

Building community impact now
The Opportunity & Equity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, approved by the IRS effective June 22, 2026. We are already serving our community through these initiatives — your support, partnership, and participation help us grow that impact.
The Bridge Conference
Our flagship annual educational conference connecting individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, educators, and community organizations with resources, education, and practical tools for lifelong success.
Serves: Individuals of all ages with disabilities (intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, learning, and other disabilities), parents, family members, caregivers, self-advocates, educators, paraprofessionals, school administrators, therapists, medical professionals, employers, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, students, volunteers, and community members interested in disability inclusion.

Hands-on educational workshops empowering individuals with disabilities and their families with practical skills in agriculture, food production, food preservation, and sustainable living.
Serves: Individuals of all ages — including those with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, learning, and other disabilities — as well as their families, caregivers, educators, volunteers, and interested community members.

A workforce development program preparing individuals with disabilities for successful employment, career exploration, postsecondary education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic independence.
Serves: Individuals of all ages with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, learning, and other disabilities, as well as their families, caregivers, educators, and interested community members.

Age-appropriate financial education for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the broader community — covering money management, budgeting, banking, credit, and economic self-sufficiency at every stage of life.
Serves: Individuals of all ages with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, learning, and other disabilities, as well as their families, caregivers, educators, and interested community members. Content is adapted for youth, teens, and adults.

A monthly workshop series teaching practical, age-appropriate daily life skills that help individuals with disabilities build confidence, increase independence, and successfully navigate everyday life.
Serves: Individuals of all ages with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, learning, and other disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. Instruction is tailored to be age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate.

A charitable scholarship program providing financial assistance to individuals with disabilities as they transition into adulthood — supporting higher education, vocational training, employment, entrepreneurship, and independent living.
Serves: Individuals with disabilities whose goals align with improving their quality of life, increasing independence, expanding educational or employment opportunities, or removing financial barriers that may otherwise limit their success.
