As a young organization, we are building our reporting and disclosure practices from day one — so that as we grow, our community can grow with confidence in us.
Nonprofit Status
The Opportunity & Equity Foundation is organized as an Arkansas nonprofit corporation. We have been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status by the IRS, effective June 22, 2026. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How Donations Are Used
Every gift is directed with purpose — program delivery, participant resources, and operational support that keeps our mission moving. We commit to documenting how funds are allocated and reporting outcomes back to the community we serve.
Governance & Accountability
Our volunteer Board of Directors oversees finances, programs, and policy. We follow internal controls, conflict-of-interest practices, and documented decision-making to keep the organization accountable to its mission and its supporters.
Annual Reports
Our first Annual Report will be published once programs are fully operational and a complete fiscal year is recorded. It will include financial summaries, program outcomes, and a transparent look at our reach and stewardship.

Audited or reviewed financial statements will be made available on this page as they are prepared. In the meantime, we are happy to answer questions about our operations and funding in an honest, straightforward way.
A note on our 501(c)(3) status
The Opportunity & Equity Foundation has been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status by the IRS, effective June 22, 2026. We operate as a registered Arkansas nonprofit, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are happy to answer any questions about a current or planned gift.
